Quantum logics and bivariable functions

چکیده
To model noncompatible events, a quantum logic was chosen among various algebraic structures as the suitable one. This paper deals with a characterization of a center in various types of quantum logics by means of special bivariable functions defined on them. Any quantum logic can be described as a union of blocks (a block in a given quantum logic L is the maximal Boolean subalgebra of L) [16]. Center C(L) of a quantum logic L is its Boolean subalgebra of elements compatible with all other elements of L. Each quantum logic L has a center that can be taken as a common part of its blocks. In this paper three types of quantum logics are studied:

متن کاملConnectives in Quantum and other Cumulative Logics
The nonmonotonic logics definable by definability-preserving choice functions that satisfy Coherence have been studied in [7]. Larger families correspond to weakenings of this property. The cumulative and loop-cumulative relations of [6] are characterized by such models and, as a consequence, one may study the natural connectives for those logics. The representation results obtained are surpris...
متن کاملBQIABC: A new Quantum-Inspired Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm for Binary Optimization Problems
Artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm is a swarm intelligence optimization algorithm inspired by the intelligent behavior of honey bees when searching for food sources. The various versions of the ABC algorithm have been widely used to solve continuous and discrete optimization problems in different fields. In this paper a new binary version of the ABC algorithm inspired by quantum computing, c...
متن کاملCompressive and rarefactive dust-ion acoustic solitary waves in four components quantum plasma with dust-charge variation
Based on quantum hydrodynamics theory (QHD), the propagation of nonlinear quantum dust-ion acoustic (QDIA) solitary waves in a collision-less, unmagnetized four component quantum plasma consisting of electrons, positrons, ions and stationary negatively charged dust grains with dust charge variation is investigated using reductive perturbation method. The charging current to the dust grains ca...
متن کامل(Re) Making the Procrustean Bed? Standardization and Customization as Competing Logics in Healthcare
Recent years have witnessed a parallel and seemingly contradictory trend towards both the standardization and the customization of healthcare and medical treatment. Here, we explore what is meant by ‘standardization’ and ‘customization’ in healthcare settings and explore the implications of these changes for healthcare delivery. We frame the paradox of these divergent and opposing factors in te...
